Social Responsibility: Sekoia places a high value on social responsibility, and we prioritize the well-being of our employees. Our commitment to a healthy work-life balance is reflected in our policies:

  • Unlimited WFH Policy: We understand the importance of flexibility in today’s dynamic work environment. Our unlimited work-from-home policy empowers employees to manage their work schedules efficiently, fostering a balance between professional and personal commitments.

 

  • Health Insurance: We prioritize the health and well-being of our employees. Sekoia provides comprehensive health insurance coverage, ensuring that our team members have access to quality healthcare and can focus on their work with peace of mind.

 

  • Generous Paid Time Off: Recognising the importance of rest and rejuvenation, Sekoia offers five weeks of paid vacation along with five additional holiday entitlements. This allows our employees to recharge and spend quality time with their families and loved ones.

Environmental Responsibility

Sekoia actively aims to reduce the use of paper in the social care sector. The digital transformation represents a game changer for care providers saving 15,000-30,000 sheets of paper per month. Our digital solution not only streamlines operations but also contributes to a sustainable future.

We strive for virtual-first operations, ideally reducing or removing the need for excessive use of transportation supporting our customers remotely and only when appropriate onsite. Servers are hosted in the cloud to generate as efficient and sustainable hosting as possible.

The Sekoia HQ offers a lunch buffet to all its team members who are encouraged to take home any leftovers in the pursuit of limiting any food waste. All vendors are local and strive for a 2025 carbon-neutral service alongside a 30% raw material footprint reduction for 2025. All fresh fish and shellfish are from WWF’s green list (breeding = WWF blue list). More than 50% of all ingredients are organic and in 2025 all meats will be free-range.

Social Responsibility

Sekoia’s app for care recipients empowers individuals to actively engage in their own care and support. Real-time communication fosters collaboration between care recipients, their families, and care providers, promoting a person-led approach.

We strive to align ourselves with the social care core values by developing a system that seeks to end the demanding time and task mentality and limit the use of alarms generating noise and stress in the workplace. The Sekoia app must be easy to use and manoeuvre in support of its actual user.

By supporting the Care Workers Charity, we aim to help this charity on their mission to champion care work and ensure that no care workers need to face financial hardship alone.
